The day started with a Maha-aarti performed by thousands of devotees.
At around 11am almost 10,000 balloons were released by jubilant sadhaks to mark the celebrations of this auspicious day. They then joined JKP Presidents on the steps of Prem Mandir as they sang the divine name and danced with joy! Cultural dances to beating drums were also performed outside Prem Mandir throughout the day.
At 4pm, the cake cutting ceremony took place in the sadhana hall, after which the sadhaks once again went to Prem Mandir to join in the celebrations there.
The grand finale cultural programme included a play which reminded the sadhaks of the fleeting nature of the world and the importance of focusing on a higher goal in life. There was also a magnificent Raas Leela dance and a beautiful Diya dance. At the end of the program, all performers from the last 5 days came together to offer their love and humble prayer to their Guru.
In honour of this auspicious event, JKP Presidents have pledged to build ‘Jagadguru Kripalu Kripa Dham’ to house almost 100 elderly shelterless sadhus in the holy land of Vrindavan.
